What to bring

Our camps run daily from 8.45am - 3.30pm unless otherwise stated- so you need to be here at 8.30am to be ready to start your day. Riders are split into 2 groups according to ability, confidence or simply to keep friends together. Whilst one group rides, the other group will participate in either stable management, a portrait session or fun activity, have morning tea, then the groups swop over. Lunch is 11.30am - 12.30pm then the afternoon sessions commence and these mirror the am sessions and pick up is 3.15-3.30pm.

Activities include dressage/flatwork, jumping, sporting, bareback, games and these are tailored to the riders ability.

camps are not suitable for beginners and any non regular Glenelg riders may be asked to attend an assessment lesson prior to booking or we may in some circumstances accept a video assessment.

What to bring

Riding gear clearly labelled with your name in a bag or plastic container. Morning & afternoon tea, your lunch, a full water bottle which can be refilled.

Clothing appropriate to the weather conditions, we strongly advise long sleeved, sunproof tops, sunhat, waterproof jacket where nec, a change of clothes. we have sunscreen, jumping vests and helmets available for use (free of charge).

If you are bringing your own horse please bring all feed, hay, a water bucket, rugs if nec.
